The Chicago Bulldogs are excited to announce that NA3HL veteran forward Bryce Freel has re-signed with the team for the upcoming season. Freel played in 44 games for the Bulldogs last season, contributing 1 goal and 5 assists. He will be looked upon to provide veteran leadership to the team this season.
Speaking about Freel returning to the Bulldogs' lineup, Head Coach and General Manager Craig Shepherd said, ""I have been able to watch Bryce compete on two different occasions this spring and summer and have gotten to know him over the phone these past months since the Magicians purchased the Bulldogs. Bryce is a hard working player with a good mind for the game and he uses his size to his advantage to create plays on the ice. It speaks volumes of his character that he stuck with the team last year during a trying season and he has an open mind to trust new ownership, a new coaching staff, and a new GM to come back and play again this year in Chicago. He is going to play an important part on our team both as a hockey player and as a leader, and I am looking forward to getting to work with him this season."
