BULLDOGS CLINCH 4TH CONSECUTIVE NATIONALS BIRTH

With their 7-0 win over the Kalkaska Roughnecks on Feb. 4, the Chicago Bulldogs secured a spot in the USA Hockey Junior A Tier III National Championship tournament in Rochester, Minn.

Michael Maines, Jordan Swiderski, Adamson Thoma, Colin McAuliffe, Andrew Kantsedal, Jim Bohne and Matt Soukup poured in the goals in the victory. Joe Lennox blanked the Roughnecks with 21 saves.

The team has earned a trip to Nationals in all four of its years of existence. Chicago will close out the regular season against Central Wisconsin Feb. 17-19 and then will play in the GLJHL playoffs. The tournament will take place Mar. 30 – Apr. 3.
