Bulldogs sweep Breezy Point



Chicago 4 @ Breezy Point 3 (OT) – Michael Ellis scored in overtime to give the Bulldogs a 4-3 overtime win on the road. Toms Taurins had a multi-point game and Troy Pierce made 37 saves in the win.



Chicago 3 @ Breezy Point 2 –  The Chicago Junior Bulldogs rallied from two goals down to secure a 3-2 win over the Breezy Point North Stars. Chicago never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Junior Bulldogs trailed 2-0 after a power play goal by Breezy Point's Ryan Mezera at 17:14 in the first period. Chicago knotted things up at 2-2 on a goal by Scott Coash Jr at 16:21 in the second period. The Junior Bulldogs netted the game winner at 13:29 in the third period on a goal by Coash Jr.. Coash Jr had two goals to lead Chicago to victory. Scott Schroeder also scored for Chicago. More assists for Chicago came via Toms Taurins, who had two and Michael Howard, Henry Hearon, Mike Holmes, and Nathan Iaciancio, who each chipped in one. Breezy Point forced Chicago goalie Sam Harden to work between the pipes, taking 49 shots. Breezy Point also got a goal from Jordan Carey as well. In addition, Breezy Point received assists from Crosby Steen, Blake Neumann, Kole Kobel, and Seyia Hayata, who contributed one each. Harden rejected 47 shots on goal for the Junior Bulldogs.


The Bulldogs host West Michigan Friday night before heading down to St. Louis to take on the Jr. Blues on Saturday and Sunday.
