Cleveland’s Tyler Dalton signs tender with Chicago Bulldogs

The North American Hockey League 3’s (NA3HL) Chicago Jr. Bulldogs have signed University School’s (Cleveland, OH) Tyler Dalton to a tender offer for the 2013-14 season.

Dalton, a senior right-winger, led University School in scoring each of the last two seasons, as the Preppers reached Ohio’s state final four in 2012, and the Kent District championship game in 2013.

The 5’10”, 170 lb. Dalton was twice named to the Greater Cleveland High School Hockey League’s Red Division all-star team. He is also a two-time News-Herald (Northern Ohio’s Daily Newspaper) First-Team hockey all-star, and this year’s only repeat first-team selection.

For his career, the three-year letterman tallied 57 goals and 62 assists, for 119 total points.

In March, Dalton played in the Ohio High School Athletic Association’s all-star game at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, and in the Greater Cleveland High School Hockey League’s coaches’ all-star game at Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena.

Dalton, who was named a University School Anderson Scholar and will graduate in June, hopes to eventually pursue a career in corporate finance.
