The Bulldogs recorded a shutout against the Freeze 12-0 in home game

The Chicago Bulldogs struggled against the La Crosse Freeze allowing Lukas Motloch and Tyler Briley to score hat tricks as Chicago crushed La Crosse 12-0 in a home game at Green Island Ice Arena in Chicago. Furthermore, Will Graves posted a shutout, stopping all 20 of the Bulldogs shots throughout the game. The La Crosse Freeze took the lead early in the first on a goal from Lukas Motloch and never looked back. Hunter Dolan did his part, adding 2 goals and Donny Schultz delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).
In the first, Motloch opened the scoring for the Freeze with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 2:15 with helpers from his teammates Sands and Schultz. Sands deposited a goal at 6:53 with assists from Goggin and Machusak. Briley quickly followed with a goal at 7:35 with helpers from his linemates, Toycen and Eykyn. Dolan quickly followed with a goal at 8:48 with an assist from defenseman Wolter. Motloch quickly followed with a goal at 10:01 with helpers from Losen and Lanz. Briley put in a goal at 13:01 with assists from his linemates, Eykyn and Toycen. Schultz quickly followed with a goal at 14:45 with helpers from Losen and Wolter.
In the second period, Schultz scored a goal at 17:12 with assists from Losen and Lanz.
In the third, Dolan netted a goal at 2:01 with helpers from Hazlett and Wolter. Marquardt quickly followed with a goal at 3:03 with assists from Goggin and Frerks. Briley deposited a goal at 6:50 with helpers from his linemates, Eykyn and Dabrowski. Motloch scored a goal at 15:04 with assists from Losen and Lanz.
