The Bulldogs struggled against the Freeze 13-1 in home game

The Chicago Bulldogs struggled against the La Crosse Freeze allowing Lukas Motloch and Sam Dabrowski to score hat tricks as Chicago crushed La Crosse 13-1 in a home game at Green Island Ice Arena in Chicago. The La Crosse Freeze took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Lukas Motloch and never looked back. Matt Wolter had a busy night with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Micah Anderson chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).
During the first period, Anderson opened the scoring for the Freeze with a goal at 4:12 with helpers from his linemates, Goggin and Seeger. Motloch put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 10:56 with helpers from teammates Losen and Schultz. Eykyn quickly followed with a goal at 12:04 with assists from Machusak and Frerks.
During the second period, Seeger netted a goal at 0:48 with a helper from Briley. Hazlett scored a goal at 3:47 with an assist from his linemate Machusak. Dabrowski quickly followed with a goal at 5:03 with a helper from Anderson. Motloch put in a goal at 9:40 with assists from Schultz and Losen. Kowalski finally put the Bulldogs on the board with a goal at 17:14 with helpers from his linemates, Gottfreid and Hass.
During the third, Dabrowski answered for the Freeze with a goal at 3:21 with an assist from defenseman Marquardt. Wolter netted a goal at 6:18 with a helper from Briley. Toycen deposited a goal at 16:11 with assists from Lanz and Marquardt. Schultz quickly followed with a goal at 17:03 with a helper from Motloch. Motloch quickly followed with a goal at 17:31 with assists from Losen and Wolter. Dabrowski put in a goal at 19:57 with helpers from his linemates, Dolan and Goggin.
