Weekend recap: Bulldogs sweep Revolution


Chicago Jr. Bulldogs 6 @ Battle Creek Jr. Revolution 3: The Chicago Jr. Bulldogs struck early getting four 1st period goals to pace their 6-3 victory over the Battle Creek Jr. Revolution. Jarret Walt opened up the scoring at just 4:30 into the 1st period. Walt and teammate Ryan Maksimovic both tallied multiple goals in the win. Battle Creek forward Forrest Walbeck scored two goals in the third period but it wasn’t enough for a comeback. Chicago goaltender Michael Paku picked up the victory for the Jr. Bulldogs.

Chicago Jr. Bulldogs 5 @ Battle Creek Jr. Revolution 0: The Jr. Bulldogs and Jr. Revolution went scoreless for the first two periods until the Jr. Bulldogs offense exploded for 5 goals in the final frame to pick up the victory over Battle Creek. Zac Edwards picked up two goals for the Jr. Bulldogs and John Godfrey added two assists to lead the Bulldogs offense. Tyler Babinksi took the loss in net for Battle Creek but stopped 45 shots during the loss.
