Flint Junior Generals 4 @ Chicago Junior Bulldogs 3 (SO): The Chicago Junior Bulldogs took the Flint Junior Generals 20-game win streak to the brink but it was Flint in the end extending the streak winning in a shootout 4-3. The opening period was filled with goals as both teams cashed in for two including an unassisted shorthanded marker for Chicago forward Ryan Maksimovic. Justin Fisher put home a goal to open the period to give Flint the early 2nd period lead but the Bulldogs tied the game up late in the middle frame as Matt Kostopoulos beat Nathan Klebe to tie the game at 3. The teams went scoreless in the final frame and the game went to overtime. In an exciting overtime neither team found the back of the net and it was off to a shootout. Matt Kostopoulos scored in the 3rd round of the shootout and immediately Austin Fletcher beat Michael Krch to bring the shootout to sudden death. Jacob Lainesse finished the game off and extended the Flint winning streak as he deked the goalie Krch and opened the NA3HL Showcase with a victory for the Junior Generals.

Chicago Junior Bulldogs 0 @ Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 5: Nick Balavich and Alex Buban both scored two goals for the Jr. Lumberjacks as they took down the Chicago Junior Bulldogs 5-0. Balavich got Cleveland on the board as he got both of his tallies in the opening frame to give the Lumberjacks the early two-goal lead. Buban split up his two goals getting one in the 2nd period and one to open up the final frame. That’s all the offense that Cleveland goaltender Joseph Moza would need as he stopped all 24 Junior Bulldogs shots that came his way. This was Moza’s 7th win on the season and 1st shutout of the year. Joey Garapolo stopped 36 shots in defeat as he lost his first game in three starts earning victories in his two previous starts.

Chicago Junior Bulldogs 4 @ Pittsburgh Vengeance 3 (OT): The Chicago Junior Bulldogs had to come back from a two-goal deficit to stun the Pittsburgh Vengeance in overtime. Tyler Dalton played a huge part in the Junior Bulldogs comeback as he scored the game tying and game winning goals with the game winner coming at 1:28 into the extra frame. Matt Kostopoulos had a solid game offensively for Chicago scoring a goal and two assists including one on the goal in overtime. Tyler Speis tallied twice for the Pittsburgh Vengeance.
